Frequently Asked Questions

Can men play? 

• Absolutely! We have a mixed competition and encourage men to play netball. Strict rules apply to positioning on the court and only 3 men can be on the court at any one time. 

What do I wear? 

• Comfortable sports clothing and appropriate shoes are recommended. Teams will be provided matching bibs. 

Can I join even though the season has already commenced? 

• Absolutely! We're always happy to have more players. You can join anytime whether you're an individual, group of friends looking to join a team or have a whole team.

Do I need a full team to register?

• No, we can add you into an existing team. 
  

Do I need to be an experienced player? 

• Not at all! Indoor netball is suitable for all skill levels, from beginners through to experienced players.
  

Are umpires provided?

• Yes, we provide an umpire for each game. They are responsible for controlling the game and applying the competition rules. 

How long are the games? 

• 40 minutes in total with 4 x 8 minute quarters. 

Can I play in more than one team? 

• Yes we allow players to play in more than one team. You only require one registration fee, but do have to pay for each game you play.
